Dollar Store Twine Carrot Centerpiece Craft

Dollar Store twine carrots are so much fun to craft with!

Dollar Tree twine carrots have been a fan-favorite and spring crafting staple for a few years now, and it’s not hard to see why.

These cute little carrots can be suited to any decor or crafting style. The orange twine adds a pop of color that can be highlighted with other brightly-colored accents. Or, the orange can be downplayed with more black, white, and neutral accents for a more rustic or farmhouse style.

I’m no stranger to crafting with these foaTm and twine carrots. Here are a few other crafts I’ve made with them:

Watch this quick video tutorial, and then follow the step-by-step tutorial:

  1. Watch the video before you begin, and let that be your visual guide for this craft.
  2. Paint the plastic planter pot. Use a dry brush technique, allowing a bit of the faux wood grain to poke through. This can be a quick paint job, and does not need to be perfect. Plaint the plastic pot white
  3. Hot glue the twine carrots to the outside of the planter pot. If using the half-barrel style plastic pot, use the divider lines between the faux planks as your guide for even spacing between each carrot. Hot glue each twine carrot to the plastic pot
  4. Fill the pot with a faux plant. Fill in empty spaces around the plant with some straw. Place Easter eggs in the faux plant, nestling them between the leaves so they stay put.
