- Assorted orange buttons
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
- Black and white check ribbon, 3/8-inch
- Scissors
- Faux greenery, ferns and leaves
Tutorial: How to make a Dollar Store Carrot Button Sign
Watch this quick video tutorial below, and then follow the step-by-step tutorial:
- Watch the video above before you begin, and let that be your visual guide for this craft.
- Begin hot gluing the buttons to the easel front panel. Lay them in a rough carrot shape – it does not have to be perfect. Just a general upside-down teardrop shape will do.
- Cut a few stems of faux greenery. Add a dab of hot glue to the top of the button carrot, and secure the greenery ends to the hot glue, forming a carrot top.
- Tie a simple bow with the black and white ribbon. Cut the tail ends at a 45-degree angle. Hot glue the bow to the carrot top, covering the greenery ends.
- Add a length of ribbon along the bottom of the easel, securing on both ends with a tiny dab of hot glue.
