Where can I buy buttons for crafting?
If you’re looking to upcycle, check out thrift stores or garage sales. You could even ask around in your “buy nothing” Facebook group to see if someone has leftover buttons in an old tin lying around.
Otherwise, buttons can always be purchased at your local craft store or Dollar Store. You can also order them online in assortments from retailers like Amazon or Walmart. Be sure to check out Etsy for more specialty and unique finds.
If your buttons aren’t the right color, feel free to paint them. I recently did this for a fall craft. I simply used double-sided tape to secure the buttons to a piece of scrap cardboard. Then I added a coat of spray primer, followed by chalk paint using a pouncer brush. Too easy!
