Grab a few craft supplies and make these floral Easter eggs. Sharing 2 easy techniques to decorate pretty pastel eggs this spring.

Floral Easter Eggs

Grab some silk flowers and fabric tape – It’s time to decorate pretty pastel Easter eggs!

Easter is fast approaching. It’s time to decorate eggs. My kids picked out a dye kit at the craft store already, but I always enjoy decorating eggs on my own as well.

Plain white eggs are such a fantastic blank canvas to get creative with!

Sometimes I think that the options for creatively decorating Easter eggs have been exhausted. Like, how many different things can you do with such a tiny object?

So these two craft projects were a bit of a crafting challenge for me. I wanted something beautiful, original, and easy to make.

I went to the craft store with Easter eggs on my mind, but no real plan. I left with silk flowers and a roll of various pretty spring fabrics… that I later turned in to fabric tape.

I was ready to get crafting!

Here are the two Easter egg decorating techniques that I came up with:

1 – Floral Easter Eggs with Silk Flowers

The idea here is simple: just wrap a plain white egg in flower petals.

2 – Decorating Easter Eggs with Fabric Tape

This project was inspired by a fall craft I made a few years ago – fabric tape mini pumpkins. For this project, I made my own fabric tape. It’s so easy to do, and I love being able to pick pretty fabric patterns to use.
