Why I love this craft
Each spring, I usually see Easter bunny head wreath forms at my local Dollar Tree. They are such a unique and fabulous blank canvas that can be decorated in so many different ways.
I’ve used these wreath forms to make Easter bunny wreaths before. But this time I decided to use the wreath form simply as a template to make an all-paper Easter craft.

Paper Bag Rose Bunny Wreath
Make this beautiful Paper Bag Rose Bunny Wreath with just a few supplies.
Materials
- Bunny Wreath Form (for tracing)
- Large Piece of Cardboard
- Decorative Craft or Wrapping Paper
- Paper Bags (30-pack from Dollar Tree)
Tools
- Black Sharpie Marker
- Heavy Duty Craft Scissors
- Heavy Duty Tape
- Hot Glue Gun
Instructions
- Watch the video tutorial before you begin, and let that be your visual guide for this craft.
- Trace the bunny wreath form. Using a black sharpie marker, trace the entire bunny wreath form onto a large piece of cardboard.
- Cut out the template. Using heavy duty craft scissors, cut out the traced bunny template.
- Cover the back of the cardboard cutout. I used decorative paper to cover the back to hide the cardboard look of the bunny cutout. Cut the paper about about an inch on all sides. Then cut slits in the paper every 1.5-inches or so to create flaps Fold over these paper flaps and secure with tape. (This is an optional step.).
- Make paper bag flowers. Begin making paper bag flowers by sticking your hand in one end and using a claw and scrunch motion with the other hand until you've run out of bag. (The open end should be the bottom of your flower.).
- Repeat the previous step. Continue making paper bag roses until you have about 30.
- Hot glue roses into place. Be very generous with your hot glue and glue the entire base of the flower as well as the sides to one another to keep the flowers in their form and in place.
