Why I love this craft
Each spring, I usually see Easter bunny head wreath forms at my local Dollar Tree. They are such a unique and fabulous blank canvas that can be decorated in so many different ways.
For this DIY wreath, I really wanted to make a more nature-inspired look. So, I opted for Spanish moss, faux greenery, and natural fiber twine to embellish the wreath.
And the best part? You can find most of these supplies at your local dollar store!

Moss and Greenery Bunny Wreath
Create a super cute Easter/Spring decor piece using Dollar Store supplies and a few things you already have on hand.

- Faux Spanish Moss
- Speckled Eggs Garland
- Wide Burlap Ribbon
- Long Faux Greenery Stems (Dollar Tree)
Tools
Instructions
- Watch the video tutorial before you begin, and let that be your visual guide for this craft.
- Squeeze in the ears. The ears are a little wide, so squeeze them in a bit to create more narrow-looking ears. This will also make it easier to wrap them with twine.
- Attach wide burlap ribbon. Hot glue the tail end of the ribbon around the wire wreath form, and begin wrapping the ribbon around the entire circle part of the wreath form. Once wrapped, hot glue the final tail end.
- Apply Spanish moss. Hot glue some of the Spanish moss right onto the front of the wreath form, over the burlap ribbon.
- Embellish with greenery. Cut off several faux greenery stems and hot glue them onto the wreath, tucking them into the moss.
- Cover the bunny ears with twine. Tie one end of the twine onto the base of an ear, and secure into place with hot glue. Begin wrapping the twine around the ear. Apply a dab of hot glue every so often (especially at the point of the ears) to keep the twine in place. When you reach the end of the ear, cut the end of the twine and secure it to the back of the wreath with hot glue.
- Wrap the other ear. Repeat the previous step for the other ear.
- Embellish bunny ears with greenery. Use 4 long pieces of faux greenery to decorate the bunny ears. Hot glue the bottom of a greenery stem to the wreath body, right at the base of one side of an ear. Wrap the stem around the side of the ear. Hot glue if you need to.
