You can make some pretty unique creative crafts using popsicle sticks!

There are so many different things you can do with popsicle sticks. The obvious choice involves using them to make your own popsicles (or chalk popsicles!). But don’t count them out for your crafts and DIY decor projects.

I’ve gathered a bunch of craft ideas to help you get crafty with these little wooden sticks.

What’s the difference between ordinary popsicle sticks and craft sticks?

Popsicle sticks are skinny wooden sticks (think ice cream sticks), but you can also buy the wider “craft sticks” at any craft store. And if you are making a larger project, they even make JUMBO wooden craft sticks! All are great options for crafting.

I typically use the wider “regular” craft sticks. This Craft Stick Wreath is a great example of something to make with the regular wider craft sticks, but this Faux Shiplap Sign was made with the JUMBO craft sticks. These DIY Farmhouse Style Craft Stick Herb Markers could easily be made with the skinnier type or “regular” popsicle sticks.

Most of the projects below use the small version, but I’m sure you could still pull off the DIY ideas with what you have on hand. Happy crafting!
