How to make popsicle stick stars
I made this easy craft project with my son, so he joined me for this video tutorial. 🙂
- Gather all your supplies on the table (for quick access).
- Fill three spots in your paint tray with red, white, and blue paint.
- Using a dry brush, start painting the crafts sticks. You’ll need 5 for each color (to make a star).
- Set the painted stick to the side to dry.
- Using a hot glue gun, place a small dot at the top of a popsicle stick and attach another one in an angle.
- Continue placing dots and sticks, making star shapes with each color.
We decided to make a star garland and attach small, unpainted wooden stars to add a bit of flair to the overall craft. A piece of Dollar Store twine will work just fine for making the garland.

- I absolutely love the farmhouse theme and adding an American touch to it tops it off. Upscale your room with these American Flag crafts.
Instead of tossing your tin cans, consider hanging on to them. They can be upcycled into things like these red, white, and blue patriotic painted tins!
