I recently stocked up on signs and door hangers from Dollar Tree. Now, these items are cute on their own, but they aren’t always exactly my style. I think these signs make wonderful canvases to customize your own fall decor. Normally, I like to paint these signs with chalk paint, but today I’m doing something a little bit different.
I’m covering my sign with craft sticks. These craft sticks came from Dollar Tree, and they are basically giant popsicle sticks. They’re thin enough that they are easy to cut with a regular pair of scissors. I added a plastic jar with flowers, but you could paint a fall saying or add a different dollar store item as an overlay. Feel free to customize this door hanger any way that you like!
