Pom Pom Snowman Wreath
This charming little fluffy pom pom snowman wreath is easy to make and can be customized with this quick tutorial. String pom poms together to form a snowman body, and top with a paper tube and yarn hat!
Materials
- White Yarn (I used a blanket textured yarn)
- Pom Pom Maker (2 pack)* – you can find them at the craft store or on Amazon
- Small Wire Wreath Form (8")
- Scissors
- Pipe Cleaners
- Embellishments: small orange bead and small black pom poms
- Toilet Paper Tube and green yarn - to make the hat and scarf
- Accent yarn in color of your choice for the hat and scarf
Instructions
- Watch the video tutorial before you begin, and let that be your visual guide for this craft.
- Use the smaller of the two pom pom makers, and start making pom poms. Secure them in the center with a pipe cleaner that has been cut in half.
- Secure the pom poms to the wreath form with the pipe cleaner ends on each pom pom. Completely fill up the wreath form to create the snowman body.
- Use the large pom pom maker to create a large pom pom for the head. Attach it with a pipe cleaner.
- Create the snowman's face using an orange bead and small black pom poms, attaching them with hot glue.
- Make the hat out of yarn and a toilet paper tube (see the video for a thorough tutorial). Cut at 1/4 to 1/2-inch section of paper tube. Loop lengths of yarn around the tube. Then secure the yarn ends with another piece of yarn tied in a bow. Trim the ribbon ends to form a pom-pom on top of the hat.
- Attach the hat with hot glue. Braid some yarn to create the scarf.
