Yield: 1 wreath

Follow this step-by-step tutorial to make a super cute and rustic DIY snowman wreath using two grapevine wreath forms.

Materials

  • 2 Grapevine Wreath Forms (one 14" and one 18")
  • Floral Wire
  • Fairy Lights (I used two packs)
  • Black Felt
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • Red and white check ribbon
  • 1 pipe cleaner
  • Twine
  • 2 Jumbo gold jingle bells
  • Faux greenery and berries

Instructions

  1. Watch the video tutorial before you begin, and let that be your visual guide for this craft.
  2. Lay the two wreaths side by side on a level table.
  3. Attach the two wreaths with floral wire in two separate sections, tying them both in the back. secure the two grapevine wreaths together with floral wire
  4. Position the battery pack of the fairy lights at the top of the wreath and begin winding the lights around the wreath forms. Wrap the grapevine wreath with strings of mini fairy lights
  5. Use floral wire (or hot glue) to secure the two battery packs together.
  6. Take a piece of black felt and cut it in half. Then fold one of the halves to make the brim of the hat. Fold it around the battery pack and secure it with hot glue. Cover battery packs with two pieces of black felt
  7. Add a tiny bow with a red and white check ribbon. Secure it with hot glue to the hat.
  8. Wrap the snowman neck with the red and white ribbon.
  9. Attach to jumbo jingle bells with a piece of twine (one jingle bell on each end). Hang this around the neck.
  10. Make a large bow to attach, tying off the center with a piece of pipe cleaner. Cover the center part with another piece of ribbon to hide the pipe cleaner. Loop figure-8s with ribbon and secure in the center with a pipe cleaner
  11. Add some faux red berries and greenery to the bottom of the snowman. You can stick them in place or attach them with hot glue. Tuck greenery and berry sprigs into bottom of wreath
