Have you seen these mini Christmas trees at Dollar Tree?

Well, you’ll definitely want to go pick up one or two after you see how I transformed them in this tutorial.
Why I love this Christmas craft:
First off, I love shopping for fabric and ribbon. There’s something about all of the colors, patterns, and textures that puts me in a good mood. So, I’m always happy when I can use up some ribbon from my craft stash.
Second, I really like the fact that this project is SO customizable and can really match any home decor style or color palette. Just select the colors and patterns of ribbon that you like. The possibilities are endless.

- Take the tree out of the box and fluff out the tree branches.
- Use a wide paint brush to lightly paint over the tree branches with white paint. Be sure to paint from a variety of angles for even coverage. Don’t try to completely cover the branches; you just want the branches to look lightly snow-covered. Let the paint dry.
- Cut ribbons at a variety of lengths. Tie the ribbons around the trunk of the tree. Fluff out the branches and ribbon.
- Display the Christmas tree on the tree stand with a skirt. I displayed these trees in tin cans that I wrapped in Dollar Tree faux tin wall tiles.
