Anytime I can use decals to create a cute piece of home decor, I’m instantly in love. Working with decals is super easy and with the many possibilities out there, you can create just about anything for any season!
Are decals easy to craft with?
Decals are 100% easy to work with. Because they already have a sticky back, they can adhere to pretty much any surface. There are times when I use an extra adhesive such as mod podge, although it’s not always necessary.

I have made lots of crafts with wall decals; however, the inspiration for this craft came from this Dollar Store Wall Decal Candle Craft. It also uses materials you can pick up from the Dollar Store, making it cheap and easy to make.

Dollar Store Wall Decal Vase
This Dollar Store Wall Decal Vase is an inexpensive, quick, and easy way to add cute spring decor to any room in your home.
Materials
- glass vase (Dollar Tree)
- flower decals (Dollar Tree)
- hot glue
- twine
Tools
- hot glue gun
- scissors
Instructions
- Watch tutorial video. Follow the video for a step-by-step walkthrough on how to make your own Dollar Store wall decal vase.
- Apply flower decals. Cut the flower decals you want to use on the vase.
Place decals onto the vase, leaving about an inch to an inch and a half gap from the bottom of the vase. - Attach twine. Starting at the base, begin hot gluing twine around the vase until you've reached the bottom of where the flower decals start. Cut the twine end and secure with hot glue.
