Why I love this craft

When I saw this viral trend, I knew I had to try it. I’ve been used to doing reverse canvas craft projects, so I wanted to give this “busted” look a try. I made my first busted canvas for Christmas, and I loved it so much that I decided to make one for winter.

How do you create the “busted” look?

Using a pen blade or exacto knife, you’ll want to cut four scores in the center of the canvas. Depending on how much paint you use, you may have to score it several times or use a pair of scissors to finish cutting the pieces. These pieces will then be peeled back and glued to the canvas to create the “busted” look.
