See how to make a simple, 10-minute Shamrock Craft for St. Patty’s Day using Dollar Store supplies.
I told myself that I wasn’t going to do any St. Patrick’s Day crafts this year. But then I was at the dollar store picking up Easter supplies, and I changed my mind. I am physically incapable of leaving the dollar store without supplies for yet another dollar store craft!
I saw this pack of foam shamrocks for $1, and thought I could make a really simple, 10-minute craft with that. So I did!

Here are my supplies for this simple shamrock craft:
- 1 pack of dollar store shamrocks
- graft glue
- gold paper
- solid paper (for background)
- scissors or craft punch – for making letters
- frame – optional. This could also be great for kid’s artwork on the fridge, or you could make a garland with the shamrocks instead.
This project literally took me 10 minutes.
I simply used my cutting machine to cut the letters for “L-U-C-K-Y” out of gold glitter craft paper. Then I glued the letters to the shamrocks.
I have a few frames that I rotate out with different printables and pictures as the seasons and holidays change. I just glued the shamrocks to a piece of paper inside one of these frames.
That’s it! So, if you are like me and thought you just didn’t have time for St. Patrick’s Day crafts this year, think again!
This would also be a great craft project for the kids – let them glue everything together and arrange the extra shamrocks however they want.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day, and Happy Crafting!
That is so adorable and easy!
WOW, what a great easy craft that would be perfect for little ones!! And so reasonably priced too……A buck is a buck!! :0)
