Hi, my name is Aimee, and I’m a sugar addict. Ok, this may be a bit of an exaggeration, but I do crave my fair share of sweets. My mom makes homemade protein bars, and every so often she will bring me a container of peanut butter goodies.
They are the perfect pick-me-up. I will pack one in with my lunch for a morning snack. Oh, and the kids love them too!
I decided that it was time for me to make my own peanut butter treats. I opted for little peanut butter balls instead of bars – perfect bite sized little protein balls for when that craving for sugar hits. Plus, adding protein powder helps fill me up, making the craving disappear that much faster.

A NOTE ON THE PROTEIN POWDER: I use the ” target=”_blank”>Sunwarrior Brand in “natural” flavor. You can use any protein powder you want. Just be aware that if it is flavored, it will change the flavor of your protein bites.

Mmmm, peanut butter. And dates. This looks so yummy – I will be trying it for sure – though I don’t have oatmeal at the moment, so will maybe try flax instead. Thanks!
I’ve been wanting to try out protein bites for a while now and this recipe sounds so good! I love me some sugar also, so I’m excited to try out something that’s sweet AND healthy. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the invite Cathy. I’ll hop over there now!
These look so yummy! I have a recipe for sweet and salty pretzel protein bites that I love, but it’s time to try some new flavors and this looks like just the change we need. Can’t wait to try them!
I hope you like them as much as we do, Kelsey!
I pinned it for later. It is so easy and seems to be delicious. I must give it a try. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for pinning! Have a great weekend!
Hi! Dropping from Sincerely, Paula’s Linky #148 #149. I’m not so much of a dessert person (I only really love cheese cake, chocs and ice cream) but this looks like it could be part of my list!
Thanks Hanniz! They really are a great great way to get that “sweet treat” without the guilt.
I love all things coconut, so these look so tasty! I am pinning for later.
Dropping in from Wine’d Down Wednesdays. Glad I stopped by and found this recipe. 🙂
Thanks so much for pinning and stopping by Emily!
