Why I love this craft
I admit that I went on a bamboo cutting board frenzy with this and a few of my other most recent bamboo crafts. It’s easy to do when there is so much you can do with these little Dollar Tree finds. I like this craft because of its versatility and durability (and it’s cheap to make!).
What is the easiest way to decoupage something?
I’ve long used the mod podge and heat method and it’s proven to be one of the easiest ways for me to decoupage anything to almost any surface. When you paint a surface with a layer of mod podge and let it dry completely, adding heat reactivates it and turns it into a sealing glue that adheres to whatever you’re decoupaging.
Using this method also helps decrease air pockets, bubbles, ripples, and the like.

The inspiration for this craft:
I’ve made several book stack craft projects and I wanted to create something that was in a similar genre but overall different. The book ends I created now hold up my fabric covered books I made 3 years ago.
