1 – Pick your designs.  For this craft, I selected winter themed images – holly berries, snowflakes, snowmen, and evergreen trees.  Pressing firmly with the china marker, draw the winter images on the watercolor paper.

2 – On a paint-friendly surface, lay out the watercolor sheets.  Tape down all four edges using masking tape.

3 – Mix assorted watercolor paint colors in small cups or bowls.  I chose red, green, and blue.  Let your little ones paint on the water color and watch as images “magically” appear beneath their brushes!

The twins always love doing this magic watercolor craft, and this time we gave our pictures to Grandma for a Christmas present.
