I made these simple savory biscuits over the weekend, and they were a complete hit with the family! Simple savory biscuits are an all-purpose breakfast or brunch food, perfect for a lazy Saturday when paired with fresh fruit. That’s how we ate them, anyway.
But let’s take a minute. I want to share my cooking motto with you. I have a simple motto for recipes I share on this blog:
The less time you spend cooking, the more time you have for crafting. The motto is as simple as the recipes I share. Simple, but tasty and family-friendly.
I’m not a foodie by any stretch of the imagination. Yes, I love a good meal. No I don’t have time to cook that meal myself. Don’t even get me started on dishes.

So if you are reading this recipe, expect quick and uncomplicated recipes that have to pass the taste-test of my two favorite food critics: my children. We whipped up these savory biscuits on a lazy Saturday morning around the house. We were in the mood for a quick and easy brunch that we could snack on hanging out, coloring pictures and playing with my little pony and race cars.
Since we had such “important” Saturday morning work to do, I didn’t want to spend the day doing dishes either. I whipped up these savory biscuits in one bowl that went straight into the dishwasher. We snarfed down our new baked treat with fresh strawberries and blueberries, which rounded out a perfect little simple weekend brunch.
I hope your enjoy this recipe for simple savory biscuits as much as we did!
