I’ve been a fan of Naval for quite some time, and I’ve just been waiting to use it on a project. Well, when I picked this tile for our bathroom makeover, I knew the time had come. SW Naval was the perfect compliment to the navy in the tile, so I painted our bathroom vanity and mirror. Bye-bye golden oak!!
Update: Sherwin Williams agrees that this is an Ah-Mah-Zing navy paint color, since they announced that it will be their color of the year for 2020!

Navy Blue Front Door
Naval is a fantastic choice if you’re painting your front door. It pairs exceptionally well when you change out your seasonal and holiday decor. Pops of red at Christmas, yellow in spring, all look great with Naval.

Navy and white board and batten
I am a big fan of board and batten trend, and picking a color for that strip of wall above the white paneling can be tricky. If you’re looking for something a bit more dramatic – for that coastal farmhouse style – go with Naval.

Navy Kitchen Cabinets
Looking to make a change in your kitchen? Painting kitchen cabinets is way easier (and super easy on the budget) than you may think. Just be sure to use very good quality paint.
I especially like the two-toned trend. This can be a great compromise if you love the white cabinet trend. White cabinets are beautiful, but they show every bit of dirt and grime. Paint the upper cabinets white, and save the darker paint color for the lower cabinets that will take much more of a beating.

DIY Navy Chalkboard Paint
When I decided to paint a giant chalkboard wall for my twins’ playroom, I knew I didn’t want to go with basic black. But, I also wanted something that would work with the rest of our home decor. So, I turned to Sherwin Williams Naval, and we couldn’t be happier with the result.
