Come see why Sherwin Williams Repose Gray is one of my favorite light gray paint colors for just about any space in your home!
If you’re looking for the perfect “greige” paint to compliment your white farmhouse trim and accents, look no further than Repose Gray by Sherwin Williams.
Farmhouse and neutral decor has been super popular for quite a few years now, and I’m loving it! White trim, doors, and walls all look gorgeous in photos, but may not all be practical in real life. If you want to stick with farmhouse style, or a neutral palette, without having white walls (that show every smudge, fingerprint and pawprint) then Repose Gray is the paint color for you.
Why is Repose Gray so perfect?
Repose Gray is a true perfect “greige” (gray + beige) paint. It is a mix of gray and beige, but it also has some brown and slight purple undertones. Because of this, it partners well with both warm or cool accents.
About that purple: You really wouldn’t notice it, if you weren’t told. Every once in a while, in just the right light at night, I think I can see the purple. Because of this, Repose Gray works best in south and western facing rooms. If you’re looking for paint color for northern facing rooms, give Agreeable Gray a try.
P.S. – if you’re looking for a bit darker and cozier gray, then Dorian Gray is for you. It’s just two shades darker in the same color family as Repose Gray.

I also painted all of the trim and doors in our upstairs in Repose Gray (ps: that wall color is called “Snowbound” from Sherwin Williams.
