Next Up: Halloween Entertaining made Simple with Easy Appetizers
My second easy Haloween entertaining solution is an appetizer or snack food.
Party food is tricky. You have to make something that’s tasty and easy to eat – often while standing. That’s why my solution is “Halloween on a Stick.”
Supplies: Using hot dogs, lit’l smokies, crescent roll dough and some skewers, these cute little snacks come together in a snap!
How to Assemble Mummy and Spider Halloween Appetizers
Roll out the crescent roll dough flat on a baking sheet. Use a pizza cutter or small knife to cut the dough into thin strips.
Pop a hot dog onto a wooden skewer and then wrap it with strips of crescent roll dough. Then bake according to the directions on the dough packaging until golden-brown.
For snack spiders, slice each end of the lit’l smokies sausages into quarters. Don’t cut through the middle of the sausage, though! This will give the appearance of four legs on each end of the sausage “body”.
Then wrap a strip of dough around the center of the sausage to form a spider body. Bake until golden-brown.
