    2. Paint the canvas. Paint the exposed canvas on the back of the stretched canvas with metallic gold or champagne paint. Then paint the front and sides of the canvas a light blue that coordinates with your scrapbook paper. Allow everything to dry completely.

Lightly distress the base, then pounce light blue paint inside the globe to create a soft snowy background. Paint a simple snowman with white, gray, black, orange, and brown paint, then finish with snowy ground and tiny white stars.

If needed, trim the opening slightly larger so more of the snow globe will show. cut busted effect into canvas and hot glue on backer
    5. Attach the background. Trace the canvas onto a sheet of 12x12 scrapbook paper and cut just inside the traced line. Hot glue the painted snow globe to the scrapbook paper, then glue the canvas frame on top.
    6. Secure the canvas flaps. Hot glue each folded canvas flap in place, holding it until the glue sets so the rolled edges stay open permanently. hot glue back busted canvas sections and add ribbon
    7. Add the finishing touches. Wrap ribbon around the outside edge of the canvas, then create a simple no-tie bow by gluing together ribbon loops and tails before attaching it to the top of the project. Your snow globe busted canvas is ready to display!
