Why I love this craft
Each spring, I usually see Easter bunny head wreath forms at my local Dollar Tree. They are such a unique and fabulous blank canvas that can be decorated in so many different ways.
For this craft, we’re going to embellish our wreath form with silk flowers, chenille yarn, and ribbon – all from the dollar store!
Video Tutorial
This craft was part of a round-up video of DIY wreaths using Dollar Tree bunny wreath forms.

Pink Floral Bunny Wreath Craft
Create your own pink floral bunny wreath using just a few Dollar Store supplies and a little bit of time!
Materials
- 1 bunny wreath form (DT)
- Twine (DT)
- Scissors
- 1 small ball of pink chenille yarn (DT)
- Hot glue gun and hot glue sticks
- 5 bunches of faux pink roses (DT)
Instructions
- Watch the video tutorial before you begin, and let that be your visual guide for this craft.
- Tie one end of the twine to the circular part of the wreath and begin weaving it out, in, over, and under throughout the wreath form. (The reason you're doing this is to give the flowers something to stick to.)
- Grab the chenille yarn and tie one end to the bottom of a bunny ear and begin wrapping the entire ear until it is completely covered. As you get to the tip of the ear, apply hot glue to hold the yarn in place. Repeat for the other ear.
- Remove the tops of the roses from their stems and begin hot gluing them around the circular part of the wreath form. (The first couple of roses may be wobbly, but as you get going the flowers will begin sticking to one another and the twine, creating overall stability).
- Add a bow using a combination of check and burlap ribbon. Cut 5 lengths of ribbon and secure them in the center using another ribbon tied around the entire bunch. Trim the ribbon ends at a crisp 45-degree angle or into a v-shape. Fluff out the bow and apply it to the wreath where the ears meet the head.
***Optional: Add some leaves between flowers using a dot or two of hot glue.
