Rustic meets refined décor in the Fall Ideas House.

I went to the Fall Bachman’s Ideas House this morning, and as usual, I left with TONS of inspiration.  The theme this year is “Rustic Meets Refined,” which they described as a combination of colors, textures, and natural elements that set a rustic yet sophisticated scene to enjoy a bountiful harvest of seasonal and trending inspirations.

Phew!  That’s one hefty description!

The key trends for this ideas house were: Luxury + Rustic, Ivory Tones, Hints of Gold, and Natural Accents.  Are you ready for picture overload?  Here we go!

UPDATE: since I published this post, I have had several requests for sources of various decor items.  Since many of these items can be purchased at the Bachman’s store locally only for a limited time, this makes answering these requests a bit tricky.  I have put together shopping guides with links to similar items that I love.  I hope this helps.  Just click the image of any item to take you to the online shopping source.

Gallery Walls Galore

How gorgeous is this little corner?  I’m head-over-heels for this whole wall… the picture ledge in a corner, the layered frames.  Did you notice that barrel table in the corner?

Beautiful Fall Bedrooms

Industrial pipe bookshelves are beyond trendy right now.  This is a great alternative to a headboard.

Then there’s this master bedroom:

Rustic Meets Refined Fall Dining Room

Let’s begin with this table that is total perfection all on its own.

Rustic meets Refined Dining Room – A rustic dining table layered with fall colors and metallic elements.

Layer on elements of fall colors with a few pops of metallic, and you’re in business.

Sitting Areas and Quiet Corners

I’m pretty sure I could sit here with a glass of wine.  No problem.

Outdoor Inspiration

They left no stone unturned in this house, even decorating the garage.  Glass vases, lanterns, trays, and plenty of greenery make this a perfect outdoor space.

    1. Hi Ruth, I don’t know where the Bachman’s people found those particular shelves. I do know that Pottery Barn has a nice selection of floating shelves and picture ledges in a variety of wood tones. Good luck!
