If you’ve watched me craft for any amount of time, you probably know I cannot resist a good Dollar Store pizza pan craft. Seriously, those cheap little pizza pans are basically blank canvases just waiting for a makeover.
For this Dollar Store Fall Pizza Pan Door Hanger, I paired a “Hello Fall” calendar page with warm orange chalk paint, rustic twine, and a few fall florals. It’s inexpensive, easy to customize, and — most importantly — another excuse to turn a pizza pan into something that has absolutely nothing to do with pizza.
Easy Fall Pizza Pan Craft
The star of this project is a pretty fall calendar page. Mine came from a 2027 Dollar Store calendar, but you can absolutely use an older calendar, scrapbook paper, wrapping paper, or even a printable.
And we’re using my favorite heat-press Mod Podge method to attach it. If you’ve ever tried putting a thin calendar page directly onto wet Mod Podge, you know why. Wrinkles and bubbles everywhere.
With the heat method, you get a nice smooth finish without all that frustration.

Dollar Store Fall Pizza Pan Door Hanger
This easy fall pizza pan craft uses a Dollar Store calendar page, Mod Podge, twine, and florals to create an inexpensive fall door hanger.
Materials
- Dollar Store pizza pan
- Fall calendar page
- White spray paint primer
- FolkArt Matte paint in Canyon Sunset
- Matte Mod Podge
- Parchment paper
- Sharpie
- Wired twine or thin jute rope
- Twine
- Fall floral stems
- E6000 glue
Tools
- Paintbrush
- Mini heat press or household iron
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun
Instructions
- Watch the Video Tutorial. Watch the video tutorial to see how I size the calendar page and use the heat-press method to attach it without wrinkles.
- Paint the Pizza Pan. Lightly spray prime the outer edge of the pizza pan. Once dry, paint the edge with FolkArt Matte in Canyon Sunset. You only need to paint the portion that will remain visible.
- Add Mod Podge. Brush Mod Podge over the entire front of the pizza pan, including the painted edge. This also helps seal the paint. Let the Mod Podge dry completely.
- Cut the Calendar Page. Use the pizza pan label as a template to trace a circle onto your calendar page. Cut just inside the traced line, then center the image on the dried Mod Podge.
- Attach the Calendar Page. Cover the calendar page with parchment paper and heat press from the center outward until the paper is smooth and securely attached.
- Add the Twine Border. Hot glue wired twine around the edge of the calendar image to cover the seam between the paper and painted pizza pan. Start and finish at the bottom so you can hide the ends with the florals.
- Add Florals and a Bow. Bundle two small groups of fall florals together, pointing them in opposite directions, and tie them securely with twine. Hot glue the bundle to the bottom of the pizza pan. Make a simple twine bow and glue it over the center of the florals. .
- Make the Hanger. Tie knots in the ends of a length of twine and attach them to the back of the pizza pan with generous dabs of E6000. Let the glue cure completely before hanging.

Easy Dollar Store Fall Door Decor
And just like that, a basic Dollar Store pizza pan becomes a cute piece of fall door decor! I love how the calendar page, muted paint, rustic twine, and simple florals all come together. This Dollar Store Fall Pizza Pan Door Hanger is inexpensive, easy to customize, and another fun reminder to never underestimate the crafting potential of the kitchen aisle!
