My mom and I went to the Bachman’s Winter Ideas House over the weekend, and boy did we leave with a TON of inspiration! Oh, and a few amaryllis bulbs… Let’s see if my brown thumb can get those buggers to bloom in a few short weeks.
Let’s start with this cozy winter bedroom. I’m loving this room from top to bottom: the color theme, the deer pillow, the perfectly styled bookshelf… and that tree! I love Christmas trees in bedrooms.
Next up: this adorable family game room. Those dice storage containers could easily be a DIY. And I’m digging the use of game-related fabric on the curtains and chair coverings is just brilliant!
This mantle is a bit more over-the-top than anything I would do in my home, but it is still gorgeous. I like the idea of putting all of your candles in a bin of some sort in the fireplace. What a neat idea!
And finally, here are three little DIY projects to inspire you for the holiday season.
One: Decorate a door with family winter pictures.
Two: Use mini-knit stockings to hold silverware on a buffet.
Three: These trees are a crafty spin on a regular green tree.
I hope you love the inspiration from this ideas house as much as I did. I would love to hear your plans for winter and holiday decorating!
I think my favorite is the winter bedroom! I also love Christmas trees in bedrooms, although I’ve never had one in there myself.
Same here! Although, I do think I’m going to put a mini tree on my dresser this year.
How pretty! I love the bedroom, it looks so cozy! I have my tree up but I still need to finish the rest of my decorating.
I love the mini stockings for silverware!
