This project is so simple, it’s almost comical. By jazzing up some watercolor paper with watercolor paints, you can make simple personalized note cards for everyday use. Give the cards as a small gift, or keep them for yourself. Use them to leave a quick note for the sitter, or jot down your to-do list for the day.
I love simple watercolor crafts, especially when I use cool hues like blues and greens. There is something so relaxing about the stroke of a brush on watercolor paper. How to make Personalized Note Cards
First, cut your larger sheet of watercolor paper into 4 rectangles.
Then outline each note card with paint. You can do a full border, or just the top and bottom edges.
Be sure not to get the note card too wet though, as the edges of the paper will start to warp and curl. No fun!
Lay the note cards flat to fully dry.
Then stack them and tie simply with ribbon or twine.
Want to make a notepad instead of having loose note cards? No problem! Give this tutorial a try and make a custom DIY notepad.
