Where to Start: Make a list of EVERYTHING you don’t like

Here’s a little tip for getting started when you’re overwhelmed with unfinished projects and clutter. Write it all down.

Look around your home – what works and what doesn’t? What do you love and what do you not like so much?

Seriously. Take a big sheet of paper and a sharpie. Walk around your house, and make a list of all the things that bother you. It doesn’t matter how large or small. It could be the pile of clutter in the corner of your office, a hall closet that needs a a new organizing system, or needing to re-paint a whole room. Write it ALL down.

By putting everything on your list, you can free up space in your mind – after all, you don’t need to be constantly thinking about these things. You won’t forget them. They are safely stored on your list.

Now you have free space in your mind to prioritize and set some goals.

Prioritize your TOP 5 things that you want to change NOW to make your home feel more organized and settled.

These are your focus now. But keep that big list for later, after you’ve achieved these first goals.
