I recently made a new inspirational quote printable for my office, and I thought I would share it with you all today. See, I have four clipboards hanging on the wall next to my desk… in a closet. It’s a closet that I use for an office.
The idea behind hanging the clipboards was so I could rotate printables, thus satisfying my desire to constantly tinker with my home decor… without spending much money.
I thought a nice motivational quote (with a little sass) would be appropriate. See, I had a big weekend:
That’s a picture of the twins and me sitting outside of the University of St. Thomas School of Law… ON MY GRADUATION DAY!!! I started law school nearly five years ago, and I wasn’t sure this day would ever come. But it did!
There are many days when I doubt and second guess myself, or critique my own parenting skills. But on that day, I truly felt like Super Mom. Super Mom, J.D.
BUT not a lawyer, yet. You can’t graduate from law school and then go out there and start practicing law. There is this small matter of passing the bar exam. And that’s not until the end of July.
This means that I have a whole summer to spend my days playing Super Mom and my nights studying for the bar. So I made this printable and desktop wallpaper as a little reminder to seize the day. Make the most of these summer days filled with trips to the park, lazy afternoons in the backyard, and toddler bliss. Make the most of my nights studying and clear this final hurdle between me and this goal that has been five years in the making.
So…
