Pink Porch Crawler Summer Cocktail

I first tried this cocktail back in my rowdy college days. Back then, the drink went by a few different names, but “Porch Crawler” is the only one my adult self will repeat!

Now that my college days are long behind me, I still like to indulge with a pink porch crawler now and then. They are really a perfect hot summer day drink. Just remember: you’re not in college anymore, so limit yourself to one or two.

Why I love this cocktail

If you’re serving a crowd, you can (1) just increase the serving size and mix up in a large pitcher, or (2) line up you glasses and mix these up assembly line style.

3-Ingredient Summer Cocktail Recipe

This could not be any easier – it’s only a few ingredients:

Just combine 2 1/2 tablespoons of frozen pink lemonade and a shot of vodka in the bottom of a glass. Top off with a 12-ounce light beer (any beer will work here, I just prefer lighter beer in the summer time).

I like to make these one at a time – unlike in my college days when we would whip up a batch.

And be sure to start with cold ingredients – refrigerate your beer and keep the vodka and lemonade concentrate in the freezer. Set the lemonade concentrate out for about 5 minutes before – just long enough for it to soften enough to be scooped out.

Of course, please drink responsibly – especially when making porch crawlers. It’s really two drinks in one, so pace yourself!
