I’m in the process of redecorating my bedroom for the One Room Challenge, and I’ve chosen an Cape Cod-inspired theme. This has gotten me thinking about nautical decor, and particularly whales. I’m not a big fan of seashells, so I had to turn elsewhere for inspiration in my coastal room.
Whales are particularly trendy, plus I’ve always been a fan. Is that the right terminology? I’m a fan of whales… like, “I’m team whale?” Anyway…
So I’ve been thinking about whale decor. There are some really great options out there right now. You don’t even need to have a coastal themed space to incorporate many of these pieces. If it’s not too cartoonish or beachy, a little whale can go just about anywhere.
