These easy Cheeseburger pockets are a total crowd-pleaser. Use a tube of biscuit dough to whip up this weeknight meal in a snap.
Here’s a Lazy Mommy cooking tip: If you put it inside of a biscuit, they will eat it. This is scientifically-proven FACT.
How do I know this? Let me tell you a story about my 4-year-old daughter, kitchen helper, and generally strong-willed child.
The other day, I asked B if she wanted to be my “kitchen helper.” Within 10 seconds, she had pulled up a chair to help me stir the hamburger mixture. Her excitement was short-lived when I added mustard… gasp! She immediately declared that this recipe was yucky and she would not be eating it.
Fast-forward 30 minutes. This girl has cheeseburger pockets piled high on a plate in front of her. “Mommy, these are really yummy. I’m going to eat them all!”
Like I said, if you put it inside of a biscuit, they will eat it.
How to make Easy Cheeseburger Pockets
You can print or download the recipe below, but here are a couple of quick photos of the actual assembly process.
Gently flatten a biscuit. Add a scoop of hamburger and a cube of cheese. I find that a little rectangle works best.
Fold the biscuit in half, and pinch the edges.
Seal the edges with a fork, and you’re ready to bake!
These cheeseburger pockets come together in a snap, and are always a crowd-pleaser. Just pair with a veggie, and you’ve got a quick and tasty weeknight meal that the whole family will enjoy.
